Dr. Steven C. Miller

Dr. Steven Miller was born in Richmond, Virginia in 1950 to Carmen and Dr. Lawrance S. Miller, a prominent surgeon who practiced Orthopaedics in the Morgantown area for 35 years.

Dr. Miller grew up in Morgantown where he attended Morgantown High School. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Pre-Medicine and then entered West Virginia University School of Medicine. In 1973, he married Carolyn Bachmann, also from Morgantown. They are the proud parents of three grown children, Jennifer, Benjamin and Allison.

Dr. Miller completed his medical internship at the Medical University of South Carolina where he decided, like his father, to pursue Orthopaedics. Upon completing his internship, Dr. Miller moved to Morgantown to begin his residency training under the chairmanship of Dr. Robert Clark. When Dr. Clark moved to Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, Dr. Miller followed him there to complete his residency training at the Ohio State University.

After being away form his hometown for nearly 30 years, Dr. Miller is proud to return to Morgantown and open a new practice. He has spent 29 years dedicated to the health and welfare of his patients. He has practiced Orthopaedic Surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and most recently, Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, West Virginia.

Dr. Miller has two brothers practicing law in West Virginia. Judge Lawrance S. Miller, II resides in Kingwood and Timothy M. Miller is with the law firm, Robinson and McElwee in Charleston.

Dr. Miller enjoys golf, following the Mountaineers and Steelers, and spending time with family and friends. He is happy to be home and contribute to the Morgantown community.
